Colm Brannigan (he/him) holds the designations of Chartered Arbitrator and Chartered Mediator from the ADR Institute of Canada and is the founder of Mediate.ca – Brannigan ADR based in the GTA.

Colm is recognized as a leading expert in Online Dispute Resolution and the use of hybrid Med-Arb processes in alternative dispute resolution. He was the first person to receive the Chartered Med-Arb designation from the ADR Institute of Canada Colm has written extensively about conflict management and alternative dispute resolution in professional and industry specific publications and is a frequent presenter at continuing education programs.

Colm is a graduate of the University of Toronto, McMaster University and Queen’s University. He also holds an LL.M. in ADR from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Teaching Effectiveness Certificate from Humber College.

Colm has taught law and ADR part-time in the Business School at Humber College and has been an adjunct faculty member in ADR in the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University.

Colm is a former Board member of both the ADR Institute of Ontario and the Ontario Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Section. He is currently a member of both the Qualified Mediator and Chartered Mediator Assessment Committees of the ADR Institute of Ontario and Co-chair of the ADR Institute of Ontario’s Med-Arb section.
